Elisa Mora Sánchez
Restoration Technician specialized in painting, with nearly three decades of experience in the cabinet of the Museo del Prado, she explains in this article the painstaking process of restoration of the tüchlein by Pieter Bruegel the Elder that has taken more than a year of work in the laboratory of the museum.
As art historian she has focused his research on the work of Rafael and Bernini, as well asthe decorative arts of the time of the Grand Tour. His editorial experience with Franco Maria Ricci through numerous books has allowed her to meet his last project: a museum for their collections in the middle of a maze.
He has studied for years the work of Caravaggio, Gentileschi and Cavarozzi. He is the author of several articles and monographs, including one about José de Ribera's Roman period. Thanks to his research, he identified the Master of the Judgement of Solomon with the Spanish painter.
