Absence and Men in Space
The Studio of the English artist Antony Gormley is a piece of the architect David Chipperfield. Built in an industrial area of London, to North from King Cross, is fruit of their friendship. Gormley, winner of the unrecognizable prize Turner, is now one of the most popular British artists. His acclaimed figures have been all over the world. He is defined as a sculptor, his works which are very scenographic, are nearer to the installation field. They introduce the spectator into a quiet stage, sometimes in the middle of natural spaces, and they develop a plot right in front of them, many times mute but always with drama.
