The story of a Hellenic Kingdom

The exhibition ‘Heracles to Alexander the Great’ that is celebrated at the Ashmolean Museum of Oxford (United Kingdom), presents for the first time outside of Greece the extraordinary findings of the ancient Egas (Vergina), the royal capital of Macedonia. Doing so changes our understanding of the place that occupied that kingdom in the classical Greek world.
