A young masterpiece of Goya
Before arriving at the Madrid’s court, the Aragon master expressed on the walls of the Aula Dei in Zaragoza everything he learned in Italy. The publishing of The Virgin with San Joaquin and Saint Ana demonstrates not only the maturity of a genius but also the variety and care that he was able to develop in his paintings.
