The Royal Theatre
José Manuel Ballester is our inedit guide inside the Royal Theatre in Madrid. The photographs reveal hardly known spaces, hidden to the public, that are discovered enormous and full of a quiet and mysterious life. The stage house of the theatre is so big that it could possibly house the buiding of Telefónica situated in the Gran vía of Madrid. Ballester shows us the opera, containers of impossible dreams that are displayed precise and industrial. These images, never seen before, are the other face of the great stages of our country.
