Marshal Soult and his painting collection
Marshall Soult remains in the collective memory of Spain's history, associate to the Independence war and the artistic pillaging. In France, he is considered as a celebrity who contributed to consolidate the military glories of the Empire. Ignacio Cano, teacher and curator of the Seville Museum, continues discovering new data about one of the most important pillaging of Spain's Art history.
