Rethinking the spaces and environments
Venice dresses up to host the 53th edition of La Biennale with renewed spirit. The artistic director of the show, Daniel Birnbaum, has proposed himself to abandon the idea of a museum centre in order to create new spaces and open a universe of environments. Under the title Worlds in construction this edition of La Biennale explores the creation of the object as a way to 'make world'. The Majorcan painter Miquel Barceló was the sole representative in the Spanish flag.
