The splendor of the Romanovs

The Russian Imperial Court is one of the richest in Europe. Its dances and ceremonies have been in the retina of their contemporaries as a symbol of absolute power of the Tsar. The jewels, the embroidered in gold costumes and the decorations that Alexander III and his wife Maria Fyodorovna wore during the coronation ceremony are an example of the magnificence of the court. The Hermitage in Amsterdam recovers that golden age and turns the building into a constant dancing of princesses, military officers and diplomats. Romanov's heart is beating again.
