Francisco de Zurbarán: the latest findings
The Painter from Extremadura and his workshop worked together for years, making it difficult to distinguish between the hands of the master and his followers. Odile Delenda has identified a dozen new autograph paintings and has incorporated them to her next catalog of the artist. Works that were believed lost, canvases passed unnoticed and unpublished discoveries in private collections are now returning to the artist's hand.
