«Nefertiti remains in Berlin»
Michael Eissenhauer (Stuttgart, 1956) is, for a year and a half now, the general director of the National Museums of Berlin. His realm consists of 15 great museums, from the magnificent Pergamon Altar to the Neue Nationalgalerie by Mies van der Rohe. On this occasion, he receives us in his office; amongst the many polemic issues on his desk is the return of Nefertiti’s bust to Egypt.
