As strong as any man
Born in 1969, Kara Walker has become one of the most important artists of her generation. Her work shows a personal style, often politically charged, that questions the American history and the current global order. Eric C. Shiner offers his vision of the world that Walker has developed along these years - a work that has moved from the wall to the screen, and very recently, from the plinth to the sculpture.
