Frozen movement and hedonism
The Museo Nacionale delle Arti del XXI Secolo, nicknamed MAXXI by the Romans, is the only building dedicated to the contemporary culture in a city that lives under the weight of the past. Brainchild of Zaha Hadid, it won the contest organized by the Italian Government in 1998.
