Speech and matter
After exhibiting at the Nasher Sculpture Centre in Dallas and participating in the inauguration of the Exchange Centre at the Japanese island Ogijima, Jaume Plensa is now working on a project for the building Burj in Dubai, in the Persian Gulf. Currently he is one of the most prominent Spanish artists on the international scene with exhibitions and projects for public spaces around the world. José Jiménez has talked to the artist in his studio in Sant Feliu de Llobregat.
