Caravaggio on the crossroads
July 18 commemorates the 400 anniversary of Michelangelo Merisi’s death. Joining in the celebration, various exhibitions have been organized in Italy, but so far none as interesting as the one which opened last May 27 at the Uffizi Gallery and the Palazzo Pitti. Curated by Gianni Pappi, the show follows Caravaggio’s steps in Florence.
