The enigma of the twill-weave canvas paintings
The recent discovery by the Prado museum of Brueguel’s The wine at St. Martin’s feast has recaptured the importance of painting on linen. Adelina Illán and Rafael Romero analyze this process in their article, with Christ carrying the cross, by ‘El Divino’.
